Each time you open the app, you’re greeted with a striking display of the current ISO week number, paired with a surprising or inspiring fact connected to that time of year. From historical events to quirky anniversaries, WeekWise helps you see the rhythm of the calendar in a whole new way.

• When you open the app, the current week number is displayed boldly.
• Below, you’ll see a fact related to the current ISO week.
• Tap the “New Fact” button at the bottom to display a new fact.
• The app avoids repeating the same fact twice in one day.
• You can safely use it offline for locally stored facts.
• On macOS, WeekWise runs as a menu bar app.
• Click the menu bar icon labeled “Week XX” to open the fact viewer.
• Press “New Fact” to cycle through fun facts.
• You can close the app directly from the menu.
• A compact widget is available for quick access to the weekly fact.
• You can add it to your iOS home screen or macOS desktop (macOS 14+).

At WeekWise, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the WeekWise app on iOS and macOS. By using the app, you agree to the terms described below.
WeekWise does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).
All operations occur locally on your device, with the exception of optional fun facts retrieved from a public API.
Specifically:
• Weekly Facts: Most facts are bundled within the app and processed locally.
• Remote Facts (Fallback): If all local facts have been shown, WeekWise may fetch a random fun fact from the public API uselessfacts.jsph.pl. This request does not include any personal or identifying information.
• No Accounts, No Analytics: The app does not require user accounts, and no analytics SDKs or tracking services are embedded.
Since WeekWise does not collect personal information:
• No user profiling, tracking, or storage takes place.
• Remote API requests are limited to retrieving a random fun fact and are not associated with your identity.
WeekWise uses a public third-party API only when no local facts are available.
The service provides trivia and is publicly accessible without authentication. No personal data is sent to this service.
WeekWise does not integrate with:
• Advertising networks
• Analytics or crash reporting platforms
• Cloud storage or remote user data services
• All data used in WeekWise is stored locally and processed on-device.
• The app does not transmit, save, or expose any user-generated or device-specific information.
Because WeekWise does not collect or process personal data:
• You do not need to make requests to access, correct, or delete personal information.

Your Choices and Controls
WeekWise, we believe in simplicity and transparency. You are in full control of your experience. Here’s how:
WeekWise may send you optional notifications to alert you when a new fact is available or to enhance your experience.
You can manage or disable notifications at any time via your device’s Settings > Notifications panel.
If all weekly facts have been shown, WeekWise may optionally fetch a remote fact from a public API.
This behavior is triggered automatically, but no personal data is included in the request.
If you prefer not to use this feature, simply avoid tapping “New Fact” repeatedly once the local facts have been exhausted.
Since WeekWise does not collect, store, or process any personal information:
• No data access requests are necessary.
• There is no personal data to delete.
